Our rigorous testing, attention to details and stringent quality control make this performance system in a league of its own. The Evolution MotorSports EVT 640 Performance System with 640 HP / 665 TQ is a simple yet effective way to improve the performance of the 3.8L Porsche 991 Turbo / S. Our direct replacement CNC machined bullet aluminum valves carry a lifetime warranty. They are much more robust than the stock valves and are able to handle the increased boost pressures from our performance system without leaking. Our valves have been a valuable upgrade throughout the years on many Porsche engines including the 996TT and 997.2TT. We developed this product over 15 years ago to replace the OEM plastic Bosch valves which have been prone to failures, causing loss of boost pressure. The final components to complete our EVT 640 Performance system are the addition of our billet boost recirculation valves. 16 gauge T-304 stainless steel – mandrel bent and purge welded.Works with OEM headers or EVOMS ClubSport headers, Stock Catalysts or EVOMS high flow Catalysts.Attaches to the OEM catalytic Converters.Retains the use of the OEM Exhaust Tips.Saves 13.30 pounds verses the stock exhaust system.Increases HP and TQ – On average ~24 HP and 18 ft./lbs.Improves overall sound and performance. The reduction of backpressure from our exhaust enables the turbos to spool up faster and helps to increase overall power and torque. Our exhaust system allows the engine to “sing” with melodic exhaust notes that one would expect to hear from this 3.8L flat-6 Porsche turbo engine. Reengineering the OEM exhaust took careful design, craftsmanship and perseverance in order to produce something worthy of this supercar. The path to get there, however, was tedious. “Evolution MotorSports attacks the Porsche 991 Turbo / S with a vengeance and designs a Performance System that not only adds significant power and torque, it saves weight and gives this new generation turbo the growl it’s worthy of” When designing our lightweight ClubSport exhaust system for the 991 turbo / S, our goals were simple. Fitting the ICM is simply made through a “plug and play” wire harness with OEM connectors for a trouble-free installation. The ICM integrates seamlessly with the OEM electronics which increases boost pressure to improve the power and torque of the turbocharged 991 3.8L engine. The heart of the Evolution MotorSports engine performance System is the EVOMS it Intelligent Engine Control Module (ICM). Our carefully engineered and thoroughly tested Performance System adds that intoxicating exhaust sound while adding the additional power punch performance enthusiasts crave. Although the vehicle’s performance and sound is somewhat reminiscent of the turbos from previous generations, in stock form it is missing the growl and grunt that this 3.8L flat-6 turbo power plant is capable of exuding. It is, however, lacking that punch of power and exhaust rumble we have grown to expect from a Porsche Supercar. We designed our valves with a 90 degree vacuum port which allows for additional vacuum line clearance and a trouble free installation. In addition, they recover quicker than the OEM valves which allows for better spool after shifts. Our valves will restore lost power and will hold more boost pressure than the stock units for added performance. Our direct replacement diverter valve pair will eliminate the notorious "honking" sound commonly heard when the OEM valves have failed.
